Anais Nin once observed that, “We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.” The same, I believe, goes for photography. A mountain view, a beautiful flower, an exotic bird, or an intriguing building can capture our imagination in the moment, and then with the aid of a camera, light — and that moment — is captured. This is where my passion comes from: to take those treasured moments provided by Nature, and preserve them. Friends have encouraged me to share these images more widely with others, and this is my attempt to do so.
I hope that you enjoy these little moments from East Tennessee. Still working on making sure that all of the proverbial ducks are in a row, but the store feature on this site is coming soon!
